Sarajevo, a city between two cultures

One of the first things that strikes you upon arrival is how two cultures coexist, separated by little more than a street corner. In just a few minutes, you can go from a distinctly Ottoman environment, with mosques and bazaars, to one with a strong Austro-Hungarian influence, featuring Central European-style buildings and wide avenues.

Baščaršija is the historical heart and one of the most important places to see in Sarajevo. Here you will find:
