{"id":18027,"date":"2019-12-27T12:20:25","date_gmt":"2019-12-27T12:20:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/amalfi-road-destination-positano\/"},"modified":"2025-03-13T02:08:37","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T02:08:37","slug":"amalfi-road-destination-positano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/en\/amalfi-road-destination-positano\/","title":{"rendered":"Amalfi Road: destination Positano"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Drive along the Amalfi Coast to Positano by car:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><p><\/p><p>Reaching Positano along the Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful places in the world, and doing it by road, is something truly spectacular.<\/p>\n<p>You can have many final destinations in it, ours: Positano, but it could have been Sorrento, Amalfi or so many others.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But let&#8217;s take some things into account when planning the trip. Shall we start? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ver\"><\/a>What to see on a route along the Amalfi Road?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are going to mark a route for you, although you can plan other options, and surely all of them will be very attractive, because the Amalfi Coast is &#8230;.. simply dazzling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In our case the journey started in Naples. If there is a typical city when you think of Italy, that is Naples. With its houses with clothes hanging on their balconies, its somewhat disorderly traffic, and Vesuvius at its feet, it has a very special charm. In our case we chose Positano, although the prices of accommodations are somewhat higher. <\/p>\n<p>But in truth the place is paradisiacal, and if you search patiently you will find some affordable B&amp;B.&nbsp; &nbsp;We stayed at<a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/it\/villa-palumbo-b-amp-b.en.html?aid=2008743&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong> Villa Palumbo <\/strong><\/em><\/a>and it was a great choice. Simple, but with a balcony for breakfast in the room, and attended by its owners. Perhaps not so central, but walking around Positano is a delight, and there is a bus that makes a round trip around the city, so we took it in front and we arrived at the center right away. The idea is to save money when choosing accommodation, but not to stay in a place that then takes away the charm of the area by having a bad time, so doing a last search by looking at photos and reading reviews of the site never hurts. <\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n<aside id=\"custom_html-37\" class=\"widget_text widget widget_custom_html amrwidget\"><div class=\"textwidget custom-html-widget\"><div data-gyg-href=\"https:\/\/widget.getyourguide.com\/default\/activites.frame\" data-gyg-locale-code=\"es-ES\" data-gyg-widget=\"activities\" data-gyg-number-of-items=\"3\" data-gyg-partner-id=\"JBOGQWX\" data-gyg-q=\"costa amalfitana\"><\/div><\/div><\/aside>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"comer\"><\/a>Where to eat?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many places along the coast to sit and eat with an incredible view. We chose in Positano the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/it\/montemare.en.html?aid=2008743&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>&#8220;Ristorante Il Capitano&#8221;&nbsp;of the Hotel Montemare<\/strong><\/em><\/a>The terrace overlooking the sea, and a very good service to enjoy exquisite dinners.
