With alpine air, buildings in pastel shades, and frescoed facades, today we will discover the city known as &#8220;the alpine city of the renaissance&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trento was Austrian territory until the First World War, is located in the Adige Valley, and is the capital of the region&nbsp; and autonomous province of Trento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a cosmopolitan city, ranking very high among Italian cities in terms of quality of life and standard of living. It is also one of the safest cities in the country. The province of Trento is one of the richest in Italy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are touring Northern Italy, for example,&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/en\/what-to-see-in-milan-in-one-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Milan<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/en\/what-to-see-in-turin-italy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Turin<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>o <a href=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/que-ver-en-verona-la-ciudad-de-romeo-y-julieta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Verona<\/em><\/strong><\/a>It is a very good idea to include this city, that although it does not receive a massive tourism, I assure you that it has no waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Surrounded by mountains, the Dolomites and the Alps, which gives it a special beauty, you can easily walk through its historic center. Of course you have several places to choose from, different types of accommodations and locations. But not being a city of mass tourism, it has in its favor that the hotel prices are not so high and we could afford without affecting the budget, to choose a superior hotel. That is why we stayed at the <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/it\/boscolotrento.en.html?aid=2008743&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grand Hotel Trento.<\/a><\/em><\/strong>   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Grand Hotel Trento is very well located, its construction although old is elegant, and it has parking on site, which is very useful when you come traveling with<a href=\"https:\/\/ad.admitad.com\/g\/6agwoaxtyz752f695f5d69b07947bf\/?subid=blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> your car<\/a> for many days already. It owes its name to the color of its peak. The tower was a cornerstone of the city wall overlooking the Adige River until 1858. It was later used as a sentinel for the northern border of the city and as a warehouse for the river port.
