Belfast, Northern Ireland, what to see in the city where the Titanic was born? A city that also has a very interesting recent history that we will learn about through its murals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland, and therefore part of the United Kingdom<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. It is located on the east coast of Ireland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrival in Belfast<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Considering that Ireland is an island, we will obviously arrive by water or by air. You can arrive at Dublin Airport (Ireland<\/em><\/strong><\/a>), and make the journey by land to the city, or get off directly at one of Belfast’s two airports, Belfast International, or Belfast City. In our case we were already touring the United Kingdom and we got a cheap flight<\/a> from Edinburgh<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>to Belfast City. <\/p>\n\n\n

Did you want to know how many suitcases we traveled with? With a lot! As we were saying, we arrived in Belfast City, where we rented a car for our tour of Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also get there by ferry from England or Scotland, both from the port of Liverpool and from Cairnryan, check the schedules and prices.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lodging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Where to stay? Belfast is an interesting city, but my recommendation is to stay in the centre or in the Titanic district, to be well located for exploring the city. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We stayed in the center and I think it is the best option. Also keep in mind that at dinner time, the restaurants  close very early (at least in our style, in our country we have dinner very late), and being in the center where there are several places, makes it more comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hotel chosen in our case was Ten Square<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, a stone’s throw from the town hall. It was a very good option, the hotel has a restaurant, and is very well equipped. <\/p>\n\n\n
