Time seems to have stopped there, its castle, cobbled streets, white houses and several churches surprise us along the way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taking a <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/es\/obidos\/free-tour-obidos\/?aid=10563&amp;cmp=postobidos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">free tour in \u00d3bidos<\/a><\/em><\/strong> is a nice option<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/obidos-1.jpg\" alt=\"\u00d3bidos Portugal\" class=\"wp-image-13604\" srcset=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/obidos-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/obidos-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>It is a small town that can be explored in just a few hours, but it is worth every minute spent there. \u00d3bidos is definitely a visit worth making in Portugal.<br>When we went there was a festival, the Literary Festival, perhaps that was why the streets were so charming, there was a lot of movement, the band playing, people enjoying themselves, those travelling gifts that you sometimes find in the least expected place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>We visited it in passing and we would continue on our way, but I assure you that we entered and did not want to leave, everything came together to make it an unforgettable few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><iframe class=\"civitatis-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/widget-activities\/?affiliated=10563&amp;display=cosy&amp;cant=3&amp;lang=es&amp;currency=EUR&amp;destination=2974&amp;transfer=1&amp;cmp=Widget_ESobidos&amp;width=100%&amp;hideButton=0&amp;centerContent=1&amp;typeSelection=all&amp;color=5f9ea0&amp;typography=Montserrat&amp;removeBackground=1&amp;showShadow=1&amp;roundedButtons=1\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" data-maxwidth=\"100%\" style=\"max-width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The aqueduct welcomed us and then the wall, the latter of which can be climbed and explored in its entirety, it is a must if you don&#8217;t suffer from vertigo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>As I was saying, we found several churches along the way, one of them converted into a bookstore, the Church of Santiago.<br>A break along the way, a breakfast that we had not had in order to arrive early to \u00d3bidos was a good idea to enjoy the town more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Shops selling souvenirs, sweets and chocolates line the cobbled streets. Among the things to try in this beautiful setting are ginjinha, a cherry liqueur served in a chocolate cup, and Bomboca, a sweet with a meringue heart covered in chocolate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/obidos-5.jpg\" alt=\"\u00d3bidos Portugal\" class=\"wp-image-13605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/obidos-5.jpg 800w, https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/obidos-5-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, \u00d3bidos is a nice option for a visit in Portugal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"text-align:center;\"><iframe class=\"civitatis-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/www.civitatis.com\/widget-activities\/?affiliated=10563&amp;display=cosy&amp;cant=3&amp;lang=es&amp;currency=EUR&amp;destination=17&amp;activities=123958,32,141126&amp;transfer=0&amp;cmp=Widget_ESobidos&amp;width=100%&amp;hideButton=0&amp;centerContent=1&amp;typeSelection=manual&amp;color=5f9ea0&amp;typography=Montserrat&amp;removeBackground=1&amp;showShadow=1&amp;roundedButtons=1\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" data-maxwidth=\"100%\" style=\"max-width: 100%\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get to \u00d3bidos?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can get to \u00d3bidos from <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/en\/what-to-see-in-lisbon\/\">Lisbon<\/a><\/em><\/strong> by bus.
