The hotel chosen was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/at\/hote-central.es.html?aid=2008743&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2&amp;room1=A%2CA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Hotel Central<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, a bit as we said for its location and a bit for its price. But when it comes to planning a visit, we always wonder: what to see? Well, here are our suggestions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/holafly.sjv.io\/c\/3659092\/2230136\/24764\" target=\"_top\" id=\"2230136\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/a.impactradius-go.com\/display-ad\/24764-2230136\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" width=\"2912\" height=\"360\"><\/a>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Maria_Theresien_Strasse\"><\/span>Maria Theresien Strasse<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This charming street is named after Empress Maria Theresa and has been pedestrianized since 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Strolling along it, and sitting down for a coffee with a Sacher cake in one of the charming cafes on the street, and taking time to look at the baroque buildings is an activity not to be missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the background you will marvel at the image of the Nordkette mountain range, and you will stroll through countless shops, most of which have a charming design.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image wp-image-84 size-full\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_3720.jpg\" alt=\"St. Anne's Column,Innsbruck one of the answers when we asked ourselves what to see in Innsbruck.\" class=\"wp-image-84\" srcset=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_3720.jpg 800w, https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_3720-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG_3720-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The typical photo of Innsbruck with the St. Anna column.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"St_Annes_Column_Annasaule\"><\/span>St. Anne&#8217;s Column (Annasa\u00fcle)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the same street we make a second stop to observe the Santa Ana column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The red marble column was erected to commemorate the liberation of the city in 1703 from the invading Bavarian armies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was created by the sculptor Cristoforo Trentino Benedetti. The column with the Norkedette mountain range behind it is perhaps the most typical photo we see of Innsbruck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_golden_roof\"><\/span>The golden roof<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At one end of the street we have just mentioned, we find the golden roof, one of the main attractions of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the many light and pastel-colored buildings throughout the city, we found this roof that stands out with its gold color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The balcony dates from the 16th century and was built for Emperor Maximilian I.
