There are trains from London to Dover and Canterbury, although visiting both places on the same day requires careful planning of schedules and travel. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>By car:<\/strong> this is the option we chose. It gives you much more freedom to plan your itinerary, allowing you to visit Dover first, explore the cliffs, and then continue on to Canterbury. They are very beautiful, and the views of the sea are stunning. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A tip: you\u2019ll find great views just <strong>400 meters along the path<\/strong> from the parking lot. If you\u2019re only interested in the cliffs, I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any need to go much further\u2014unless you want to do the coastal walk all the way to the lighthouse. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Canterbury\"><\/span>Canterbury<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/canterbury-2.jpg\" alt=\"Catedral de Canterbury desde Londres\" class=\"wp-image-22730\" srcset=\"https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/canterbury-2.jpg 800w, https:\/\/europaacompanada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/canterbury-2-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our last stop was <strong>Canterbury<\/strong>. <strong>Canterbury Cathedral<\/strong> is impressive and worth a visit. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Price:<\/strong> \u00a320<br\/><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.getyourguide.es\/canterbury-l1071\/entrada-a-la-catedral-de-canterbury-con-guia-de-prensa-t441167\/?partner_id=JBOGQWX&amp;utm_medium=online_publisher\">Book your tickets<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But for me, the best thing about Canterbury is <strong>getting lost in its streets<\/strong>.
