The most beautiful towns and cities in the Czech Republic were surely brought to you here.

Hello fellow travelers, are you ready to take a tour of some of the most beautiful places in the Czech Republic today?

Olomouc

Located almost 250 kilometres from Prague, we visited it on our way to Poland, so we stayed there for one night. For centuries it was the administrative centre of Moravia, and today it is the second largest population centre in the region. One of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic without a doubt.

It is a small city that you can visit for a day, with everything picturesque and monumental to see very close to its main square.

As we said, it is located in the eastern part of the Czech Republic in the Moravian region. The Plague Column stands out in its main square.

  Holy Trinity Column

Erected as a sign of divine thanks for the end of a terrible epidemic that devastated Europe in the 18th century, it is literally immense, at 35 metres high it draws attention as soon as you approach the square. It is one of the largest baroque sculptures in Central Europe.

It was built in 1740 and due to its historical and artistic value it was inscribed on the UNESCO list in 2000.

City Hall and Astronomical Clock

We only turned our steps to see the beautiful Olomouc Town Hall and, just like in Prague, its astronomical clock. It dates back to the second half of the 15th century and has been rebuilt several times. Its current appearance dates back to 1955, during the communist era, when the saints were replaced by other types of figures. This is a particular feature of this clock.

In this city we will see many fountains, the Church of St. Mauritius, the Church of St. Michael, the Chapel of John Sarkander, the Cathedral of St. Wenceslas and Dolni Square among other things.

►Download pdf map of Olomouc

The Other Plague Column of Olomouc

The column of Mary is located in the Dolni Square and is much smaller than that of the Holy Trinity. It was built after an epidemic of the Black Death that hit Olomouc between 1713 and 1715.

We had dinner at the Moravská Restaurant where we had the experience of enjoying an excellent meal and being served with great kindness. These types of experiences added to the beauty of the place make Olomouc an excellent stop in the Czech Republic.

Our hotel in Olomouc was the Orea Hotel Arigone, simple but with a good location.

});
      })();

We rented a car to tour several places in the Czech Republic. As I always say, it is generally cheaper to pick up and return the car in the same place. In this case we did it with Discovercars, check the prices with your dates.

►Find the car for your tour on Discovercars

Karlovy Vary

Karlovy Vary is a spa town in the Bohemian region of the western region of the Czech Republic.

Located just 137 kilometers from Prague, it is chosen as a day visit and an appropriate option since it is not as far away as the one we saw earlier.

It is historically famous for its hot springs and interesting architecture.

The thermal spring pavilions, colonnades and Orthodox Church are some of the things to be found in this spa town founded in 1370 that presents itself with an elegance from another era.

As we said it is an option, if you do not want to stay in it, go for the day from Prague.

They have the option of the bus from Prague you can get good prices, and it takes about two hours to travel, or by train and there are also excursions with an English guide that do it.

Having internet is always important. During this trip to the Czech Republic we were in contact with the Holafly eSim, we got the one for unlimited use in Europe for the number of days we were there and it was a very good option. You activate it with a QR code, follow the instructions and it’s ready to use. It doesn’t work on all mobile models, so check the page carefully to see if it can be useful for you. With our code you get a 5% discount on your purchase. Here is the link with the discount for followers of Europa Acomanñada! Holafly discount code, EUROPAACOMPAÑADA5

Have you seen our article about Prague yet?►What to see in 4 days in Prague

Kutna Hora (Sedlec Ossuary)

Located just 80 kilometers from Prague, Kutná Hora is generally chosen to visit for its ossuary, although its historic center also has things to see.

The Sedlec Ossuary is located in the neighborhood of the same name, in 1278 when an abbot brought sand from the Holy Land and scattered it in the cemetery of the Chapel of All Saints, the remains of the burials began to accumulate in the place.

The bones of the deceased piled up until an artist was hired in 1870 to put them in order, the result being the bone decoration that we see inside the chapel. The visit to the Sedlec Ossuary is popular among tourists who visit Prague despite the macabre scene. I must say that I thought it was bigger, but it is not that much, and having already visited the Catacombs of Paris, it was not something that personally impacted me that much. But I will leave it here because as I was saying, it is a very visited place.

A few meters from the ossuary we find the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady and San Juan Bautista.

And as I said, other places to visit such as the Santa Barbara Church or the Jesuit School.

Always remember, when putting together your vacation, to take out travel insurance. We use Iati, from our link they have a 5% discount on hiring it.

We continue with the most beautiful villages in the Czech Republic

Cesky Krumlov

We leave Cesky Krumlov for last place and not because he lacks beauty, that’s what he has left over, but because we dedicate an entire post to this city that many name as the most beautiful in the Czech Republic. ►What to see and do in Cesky Krumlov, complete guide

Located about 170 kilometers from Prague, it is a very worthwhile visit.

The highlights here are the Castle and the views from it, the Castle tower, the old town, the meanders of the river with its nautical activities, the churches of San José and San Vito, the Plaza with the Plague Column. In short, it is so beautiful that we already dedicated a post to it in case you want information on how to get there, where to eat and where to stay.

There are several cities that we could add to these and that would form the list of the most beautiful villages in the Czech Republic, such as Pilsen, Brno or Ceske Budejovice.

I think we all put the Czech Republic on our map and in our sights to visit Prague, which is undoubtedly a wonderful city and of which we also leave you our video at the end of it, but it is also worth adding some other places in this country that as we saw has charming places.

Travel companions, imagine that you arrive in Prague on your own, by car, by train, by bus… and you fall in love with the city but also discover that the Czech Republic has more places to visit. You start to hear names like Karlovy Vary, Olomouc, Kutna Hora or Cesky Krumlov.

That’s why I’m of the idea of planning what to visit before going. Today we will take you to one of them so that you can get to know it and draw your own conclusions. Travel companions, welcome to Cesky Krumlov!

How to get to Cesky Krumlov

How many kilometres from Prague is this city? Cesky Krumlov is about 170 kilometres from Prague. You can visit it for the day or stay overnight, the latter option is the one we chose.

You can get there by car if you already have one rented and you are touring with it, or rent it for the day from Prague. To travel on the highways of the Czech Republic it is necessary to take out an electronic vignette, it has a minimum duration of 10 days and a cost of CZK 310 (about 13 €). We did it at the sales stalls at the entrance to the country but you can also do it online, I leave you on the blog the website. ►Czech Republic cartoon.

You can also go by bus, you can do it on Flixbus, we used it on another route but it worked very well for us. The journey from Prague on the bus takes about two and a half hours or more. You can get your tickets in advance for both the outward and return journeys. ► Flixbus website in English

You also have the option if you don’t want to complicate things by doing it on a tour. These leave from Prague with a Spanish-speaking guide and you will tour the city with him, returning to Prague at the end of the day. ►Book the tour to Cesky Krumlov

Either way you choose to do it, you will surely enjoy it, or at least that’s what we did, as I told you, we chose to spend the night. Below I’ll tell you about our accommodation, a charming apartment with lots of charm.

Things to see in Cesky Krumlov

Cesky Krumlov is a small city< located in the South Bohemia region. The historical center of Český Krumlov, including its castle, has been listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO since 1992. And the walk through its streets will transport you to another era, it will be truly magical.

The Vltava River makes a meander here in which we find the old town of the city.

When you arrive in Cesky you will start to wonder what to see, but it is one of those small cities where, although some places stand out, such as the castle or its tower, getting lost in its streets is without a doubt the best plan.

The walk will catch you, the views of the city and its river are not to be missed, the corners are simply wonderful.

Castle

The construction of the town and its castle began in the 13th century , the castle is the second largest in the Czech Republic, second only to the Prague complex. Within its walls there is a large garden, a moat inhabited by bears, period furnished interiors, the exhibition of the Castle Museum with year-round operation, the castle’s cylindrical tower, which is visible from all sides and has an observation platform, the Castle Baroque Theater and the exhibition of the stables.

You can enter the exteriors of the castle and the gardens for free, but to visit the old royal rooms you have to pay an entrance fee, they are differentiated according to what you want to see going from 180 crowns ( € 7.50) to climb the tower and 240 crowns (€ 10) for the visit to the royal apartments. There are more options, I leave you the website of Cesky Krumlov Castle

Latran

The Latran area, which stretches at the foot of the castle, is one of the oldest districts of Ceský Krumlov, with interesting monuments, such as the Budějovická Gate or the medieval bastion.

Cesky Krumlov Square

Cesky Krumlov Square, the highlight of the square is the Plague Column with a statue of the Virgin Mary and eight patron saints of the city and protectors against the plague.

Throughout the tour we use the map to be able to guide us in the itinerary, for this and many more things we need internet. We travel with Holafly eSims, which have unlimited internet throughout Europe. Want more information? we have a special post explaining how to use them► Our experience with Holafly eSims

Where we dine

We had dinner at Tabern Satlava. The place is highly recommended, you must make a reservation because it is always full. Apart from the charm of the dining room, the service is good and so is the food.

Where we stay

Where did we sleep? Right in front of the restaurant, Castle View Apartments. With a charming decoration, a very good location and very good treatment from its host, it was a great success. If you go by car you cannot get there because it is a pedestrian zone, but they have a parking lot to recommend although it is a little far away. In these cases it is advisable to go down only with the carry-on because large suitcases are very difficult to carry on the cobblestones.

});
      })();

There are several options of cities to add to Prague to get to know something more about the Czech Republic, but I assure you that Cesky Krumlov does not disappoint.

The dinner boat in Prague is something that many of us consider doing when visiting the capital of the Czech Republic.

Prague with its Old Town Square and Castle is a magnificent city and many of us imagine sailing along its Vltava River, passing under the Charles Bridge and all the bridges it has on the dinner boat in Prague to celebrate a special occasion or for the simple fact of treating ourselves during that trip that was so desired and planned.

But doubts come to us at the moment of making a decision, the same ones we had: will it be worth it? What will the experience be like? How do I get a spot by the window? There are good and bad reviews on the shopping sites.

We are going to refer exclusively to the one we booked► the glass roof cruise , since it is the experience we live and we can transmit, but there are many options to choose from.

The boat’s departure time is at 7 pm, which may seem a bit early for us, who usually have the habit of eating dinner later, but the trip will last about 3 hours, so night will fall while we are on board. Here on the map we can see the route we took ↓↓

Boarding takes place 15 minutes before departure at pier 3 under the Cech Bridge. You take your reservation voucher to the marked pier location, there you will meet the company staff who will exchange the voucher for your boarding ticket.

Whenever you receive the voucher for a reservation, look at the indications, there will be the exact address and if you should redeem that voucher before entering.

And now if you go straight to the boat, unlike others that we have taken in this case they did not make us queue but as we arrived they welcomed us with a glass of prosecco and accompanied us to our table.

INSIDE THE BOAT

We had a window table for two. You have three table location options at checkout.

In the centre of the boat, Essential seats, above the window Exclusive seats, and finally at the stern of the boat with privileged views De Luxe seats.

In all cases the menu includes a buffet dinner and a welcome glass of prosecco. It does not include drinks so we added a bottle of prosecco. I will detail the prices of everything later.

The dress code is usually a question for everyone, but it does not specify anything.

We were on board early as we had arrived early just in case. While we were waiting to set sail they brought us some cheeses to the table to accompany the glass of champagne.

Taking the option with dinner is not the only way to navigate the Vltava. You can also take the boat that offers just the tour, although we have not taken it, we imagine that it is also a good option for a trip.

MENU AND EVENING

Once everything was ready, we set sail. On this boat, during the tour, you can go out on deck if you want to enjoy the views or take pictures. As always, our doubt was whether the reflection during dinner would allow us to film and take photos outside, but as you can see, if there is a reflection, you can get some good shots.

The evening was accompanied by musicians, which I really liked, and with enough volume to hear them but still allowing us to continue talking and giving the evening a romantic touch.

A little further into the tour, they announce that the buffet is ready for us to serve ourselves. There is a lot of variety, and you can serve yourself as many times as you want. Although at the beginning there is a queue because we all go at the same time, later on when you repeat the meal, you don’t have to wait long.

Although I am one of those who prefers a set menu at the table for convenience reasons, it is also true that here everyone’s tastes as well as portion sizes are covered.

Everything is served from the beginning including the sweets.

The route is long so you can take the time to have dinner quietly and then if you want to go out on deck.

The tour begins at the Cech Bridge, so we will start in the centre and then continue along the Vltava to non-touristy areas. When we turn around, we will pass over the Charles Bridge again and we will have views of the Castle, but everything will be at night and illuminated.

PRICES FOR DINNER ON THE GLASS ROOF BOAT IN PRAGUE

As we said, the price difference is not in the menu but in the location. The 2023 prices for the midship location, Essential, is €69. The window location, Exclusive, is €89 and for the location at the bow of the ship, De Luxe seats, is €119.

In our case we chose Exclusive, next to the window. In all cases, children under 3 years old are free.

The reservation has free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity.

The bottle of Prosecco we added cost €36

When night falls, it begins to return and get the views of the illuminated monuments, it is a good idea to go out on deck to get the views.

OUR OPINION

Was it worth it? For us yes, to spend a different night, to celebrate the trip. I would repeat, if they are also special evenings that are kept among the beautiful memories of the trip.

What to see in Prague. This beautiful city is a highly sought-after destination, it has a lot to see so we will detail a tour of it.

It is the capital of the Czech Republic, crossed by the Vltava River and called the city of a hundred towers.

We spent four days there, but if you have more, it will be better, you will see everything that awaits you in Prague. Shall we begin? What to see in Prague.

Day 1. What to see in Prague.

We will start at the place that is the postcard presentation of this beautiful city and it is its Old Town Square. We are now in the area of Stare Mesto (the old town).

Stare Mesto

It is a beautiful area to walk and to stay, in this area we had our hotel that we will show later.

What to see in this area?

Astronomical Clock

The astronomical clock. One of the main attractions of Prague is its astronomical clock. It is located on the wall of the town hall and was built in 1410. Unlike another one we have visited, the one in Strasbourg, which those who follow us will have seen in the video of that city, this one is located outside so simply by standing in the square you can enjoy the spectacle every hour on the hour. You will notice that it is about to start even if you do not check your watch, the crowd looking up will give you the indication that the hour is approaching.

But we can go inside the town hall and see some of the mechanism inside, although the main thing is the beautiful views you get from there

Old Prague Town Hall

Its construction began in 1338 and more buildings were added around it over the years. Today its tower is surrounded by Gothic and Renaissance buildings

Its 70-meter tower, as we said, allows you to climb up and that’s where we went. You have two options: go up by elevator or on foot. Although we chose to go up by elevator, we saw that it wasn’t necessary, at least in our case, because the climb is via a ramp that seems very comfortable. The price varies depending on the way up you choose. The entrance fee is 300 CZK (about €13) and an extra 100 CZK (just over €4) more if you want to go up by elevator. The ticket office is on the first floor.

The views of Prague’s rooftops from the top are unmissable, so the climb is highly recommended so it would be something to add to this tour of what to see and do in Prague.

Views from the Town Hall Tower

Although we are telling you about the places to see so that you can put together your own itinerary through the city, as always, and applying what we recommend, we started this tour with a free tour, which was worth doing and began in Mala Strana and then ended here in the Old City.

The hidden church, Our Lady of Tyn

When I was told that the church in Prague Square was hidden, I didn’t realize how much. Once there, I expected a small street as an access, but it is only a passage.

Together with the town hall, the Tyn Church is one of the city’s postcards. A must-see in Prague. These two towers frame the square, it was built in the 14th century. Access to it is from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.

The Church of San Nicolás

The Church of St Nicholas in the Old Town, not to be confused with the one in MaLa Strana as there are two churches of St Nicholas, the other one we will see later, was built in 1732. This church of St Nicholas is also in the Old Town Square and is worth the entrance fee, it is a very beautiful baroque church and has a chandelier inside which is worth seeing. The crown-shaped chandelier weighs 1400 kg. It was given to the church by Tsar Nicholas II of Russia. Admission is free.

Concerts are held in the church, we have not been but I imagine it is a nice option.

►See the concerts at the San Nicolás Church

A short walk from the square will take us to the Powder Tower.

Powder Tower

Only 450 meters separate us from the Old Town Square to the Powder Tower.

The Powder Tower (Prašná brána) is a gothic tower ,one of the< wpml_nbsp >original gates of the city. It dates back to the 15th century and leads to the Old Town we are visiting. It is one of the most famous monuments in Prague.

Prague Municipal House

Nearby we find a spectacular building, the Municipal House (Obecní dům). This exponent of Art Deco is home to concert halls, exhibitions and restaurants. It was built between 1905 and 1912. A look at even its hall is worth it, but the façade is already worth admiring.

Works by David Cerny

We will see many works in the city by the sculptor David Cerny, they are somewhat controversial but undoubtedly attract attention. They range from a man hanging from a building, giant faceless babies to two men urinating. They are really unmissable, something more than just adding to what to see in Prague.

The Clementinum

About 400 meters separate us from the Old Town Square. The Clementinum (Klementinum) is the second largest building complex in Prague after the Castle. Originally, the Clementinum was the seat of the Charles University. From the 16th century it was occupied by the Jesuits, who built a large complex in the area, to which more buildings were added. Until a few years ago the complex housed the National, University and Technical Libraries. A visit to the impressive 18th century Baroque library is currently available only through guided tours, which are available in Czech and English. The price is about €13.

Charles Bridge

We will start with the Old Town Tower and the breathtaking views from this small square towards Prague Castle, The Old Town Tower can be climbed.

The Charles Bridge (Karlův most) is the oldest bridge in Prague and crosses the Moldau River from where we are Stare Mesto to where we go Mala Strana i.e. from the Old Town to the Lesser Town.

Its construction began in 1357 and ended in 1402. It has 3 towers distributed between its two headlands, one of them at the end located in the Old Town and the other two in Mala Strana.

We can climb the tower that is in the old city, but we haven’t done it so we can’t tell you what the views are like.

The bridge is decorated by 30 statues located on both sides of the bridge, most of which are baroque style< wpml_nbsp >and were sculpted around 1700, most notably that of St. John Nepomuk. Legend has it that if you rub the dog you will come back

During the day it is overcrowded, if you can go early in the morning you will see it better.

Visit it during the day but if you can go see it at night too, it highlights a captivating medieval atmosphere. Or you can take a free tour of the mysteries and legends of Prague, it is a nice option.

Throughout the tour we use the map to be able to guide us in the itinerary, for this and many more things we need internet.
Day 2. What to see in Prague

We will visit Mala Strana

Mala Strana

Mala Strana means small town.

Malostranské Square

We will start at the Malostranské Náměstí Square distant from the Charles Bridge a little more than 400 meters. An attractive square with baroque buildings, the tower of the Madonna erected in 1715 and the frame is given by the Church of St. Nicholas, this is the other church of St. Nicholas that we named a few minutes ago. This baroque church was built between 1704 and 1755. The entrance fee is 100 CZK (just over 4 euros).

A short walk between beautiful streets 400 meters more will take us to the John Lennon Wall, another place to see in Prague.

<guruwalk-tour-cards affiliate="n93obcj34xm5opk6kw4d" city="praga" lang="es" text-color="#484848" primary-color="#008489" secondary-color="#008489" limit="3" description="abstract"></guruwalk-tour-cards>

John Lennon Wall

Located on Kampa Island, the origin of the wall dates back to 1980, when John Lennon was assassinated. The Beatle was very followed, as he was all over the world, but apart from that at a time when the Czech communist authorities forbade many things to young people, so the wall became a space to express themselves and reveal themselves. The corner is very picturesque and is always very busy.

We continue in the Kampa park and we go to see some giant and faceless babies, as we said another work by the Czech artist David Cerny.

Monument to the victims of communism

A few more meters we will advance to meet the monument to the victims of communism, 600 meters separate us from it. It commemorates the victims of the communist era between 1948 1948 to 1989. It is located at the base of Petřín Hill.

The narrowest street

We retrace our steps and not so far away we find the narrowest street in Prague, it has a traffic light to pass and you will see many people queuing to do so. We continue our journey to the Kafka Museum.

Kafka Museum

The writer Franz Kafka was born in Prague in 1883. In this museum you will find manuscripts, drafts and photographs of it. The entrance fee is 300 CZK (€13).

Right at the entrance of the museum you will find a fountain composed of two men urinating, it is the work of the already named Prague artist David Černý.

Letná Park

We will finish this tour at the metronome of Prague, from where we will get a very nice view of the city and we will get ready because tomorrow we will visit the Prague Castle.

This huge metronome is located in Letná Park, the metronome for those who do not know is an instrument used in music to mark the time.

We’re stopping here to ask you if you’re enjoying the video. If so, please subscribe. Have you already done so? Then we’ll continue.

We are asked many times about the travel insurance we use, we travel with Iati insurance, if you are about to choose it I tell you that from our link they have a 5% discount. ►5% discount on Iati travel insurance

Day 3. What to see in Prague

Castle District

On this third day we will tour the Prague Castle. We started the tour with a free tour. We did the free tour of the castle to get acquainted with the history of the castle as it is a very large complex, but you can also do it on your own.

Prague Castle

You can walk up from Mala Strana Square up Nerudova Street. Or go up by tram and then walk down. We went up on the tram, the cost of the 30′ ticket is 30 CZK ( € 1.26) , 90 ‘ 40 CZK , but you have 24 hs tickets for public transport if you plan to use it a lot or 72 hs, the prices are 120 and 330 CZK respectively (about €5 and €14). Don’t forget to validate your ticket once when you get on. More information on the Prague Public Transport website.

World Heritage Site, the castle is a large complex. It is here that we use the Praga Cool pass well since with it you have access to almost all the facilities, we will detail as we see the places.

St. Vitus Cathedral

Two churches are located within the complex, starting with St. Vitus Cathedral. It is the largest example of Gothic art in Prague. It has been the site of the coronation of all the kings of Bohemia and is also the burial place of the holy bishops and archbishops and a good number of kings.

Entrance to a certain point is free, but if you want to continue along the path to the altar, the entrance fee is 250 CZK (€10.50) for the complete tour of what we will see. Access is included if you have the Prague Cool Pass.

St. George’s Basilica

Only the foundations of the original building founded around the year 920 have been preserved. When the monastery was founded in 973, the church was enlarged and rebuilt.

The ticket price is CFK 250 € 10.50 for the complete circuit of what we will see. , being also included in the Prague Pass.

Halls of the Royal Castle

The halls of the Royal Castle were built in the 17th century for Emperor Rudolph II and housed important sculptures. The entrance also enters the circuit along with the previous churches.

Let’s now go to the famous Golden Alley.

Golden Lane

Golden Lane is certainly a charming spot in Prague Castle, named after the fact that it was once an alley dedicated exclusively to goldsmithing. This was in the 15th century, but very little has changed since then. The traditional medieval buildings still remain, only now they house exhibitions showing scenes of medieval life and shops selling local crafts. If you are a fan of literature, be sure to visit number 22: it was the house of Franz Kafka’s sister, and the author wrote there for a while. Access is included in the aforementioned tour, it is free if you have the Prague Cool Pass and access is free for everyone after 5 pm when the shops in it close.

Castle Gardens

A tour of the castle gardens will make you relax from a busy day and you can finish the tour of the Castle in this magnificent place with these views of the city.

If you still have energy left, we add two places not so far but for those who take the tram. They want to see which ones, come on!

Our Lady of Loreto

The Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto is not in the Castle district but in Hradcany, which is next to the Castle district. The ticket price is 250 CZK (10.50 €) is included if you have the Prague pass.

Strahov Monastery

Founded at the beginning of the twelfth century by Władysław II, the library of the Strahov Monastery has two rooms that are somewhat reminiscent of the Baroque library of the Clementinum.

Day 4. What to see in Prague.

Today we will start in the New Town.

Nove Mesto

Dancing House

We will take the tram to a construction that, although it is not old, attracts a lot of attention. The Dancing House.

The building was designed in 1992 and completed in 1996.

The design, not very traditional, was controversial at the time because among the Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings in Prague it stood out for its difference, today it has become an attraction of the city and many of us are those who go there to see the construction.

Our steps will take us to a museum and a beautiful building.

National Museum

The historic building is located on Wenceslas Square, it is one of the most important buildings in Prague, declared a national cultural monument in 1962. Its interior is truly wonderful. The building is in the neo-Renaissance style, it was built between 1885 and 1891.

Inside you will find, among other things, samples of paleontology, anthropology and zoology.

The opening hours are from 10 am to 6 pm and the entrance fee is 380 CZK (€16). It’s free if you have the Prague Cool Pass

We are now going to see another work by David Cerny.

Wenceslas’ Horse

Located in the Lucerne gallery, about 500 meters from the museum we recently visited, we found this sculpture with Wenceslas’ upside-down horse.

We continue walking towards

Kafka’s Head

This work, also by David Cerny, was placed at the end of 2014, in front of the Quadrio shopping centre.

Here the author brings us one of the important characters of Prague, Franz Kafka.

And now we will go back to where we started in the old city, to walk through the Jewish Quarter, the Josefov.

The visit to the Jewish cemetery and a series of synagogues of which we highlight to enter the Spanish Synagogue.

It is an interesting tour and within them you will find information about the Jewish community in Prague.

The price of the entire circuit of 6 synagogues and cemetery is CFK 300 (€10.50) you have it included if you have the Prague Cool Pass.

Do you want to end the day from above? Then I’ll tell you about the hotel and other visits

Zizkov TV Tower Prague

We will travel by tram and climb 93 meters when we reach this 216 m tower. The 360° view of Prague awaits us. Is it a must?, personally I don’t think so, but anyway it was a visit that we liked to make.

The entrance fee is CZK 300 (€13), it is included with the Prague Cool Pass.

Our hotel in Prague

We stayed in the Old City, this time we chose the Iron Gate, the hotel was very well located and with very good service.
