Dinner boat in Budapest! Hello fellow travelers, as expected we wanted to embark in the evening on the Danube to get a beautiful view of the illuminated parliament.
When it comes to sailing in Budapest, it is a good idea to choose the evening/night because it is a city that looks very good when illuminated.
Parliament, Buda Castle and the Chain Bridge are wonderful options to see illuminated at night.

Arrival, schedule for the boat with dinner in Budapest
The appointment was at 10 p.m. at pier 3. As always I recommend reading the voucher well, although this time the address was not so exact, it was a few meters apart.
When you arrive, you will only see the queue of people to board, so you will already realize that it is the place.
Upon boarding, you will be taken to your seat. The interior of the boat is antique, which gives it a certain charm.
You have two options for dinner, 10pm or 7pm. In our case, we chose 10pm so we could enjoy walking around until late and then change and go back, and at the same time to be sure that it was already dark because what we wanted was to see the city lit up.
Seating. In this case, unlike others we have seen in other cities , there is no variety of seating options, there is only one ticket price. The boat can also vary depending on the specifications.
We were okay with our boat and the location was by the window as well.
Dinner menu on the Danube
Dinner is buffet style. As I have said in other cases, I prefer a set menu, but this option allows everyone’s tastes to be taken into account and you can also serve yourself the portions you want.
Dinner includes a bottle of water and a glass of wine.
The night has typical live music, a small show by a couple of dancers accompanied by live musicians.
In any case, the star of the night is the view of Parliament, nothing equals it.
We saw that on the same boat there were options for a tour with just a drink and others just the tour, I don’t know if this will always be the case…

The night meets expectations, there are many places to get views of the parliament but the truth is that this place, dining and the parliament illuminated has been very worthwhile.
