ORLYBUS

The Orly bus connects the airport from its terminals with the Denfert Rocherau station in the 14th district. If you are going to that area, it is a good option. You can also connect later with the RER B or metro lines 4 and 6 to the area where you have accommodation.

The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs €9.50. You can get them with Navigo or Paris Visite if you got the ones that include zones 1 to 5, Orly airport is in transport fare zone 4.

The frequency is every 8-15 minutes between 5:35 and 00:30.

On the way back you make the opposite trip, once you get to Denfert Rocheroau you follow the signs until you get on the Orlybus. The screens show the departure times.

The duration of the trip is an estimate, so if you make the trip in reverse, take the precaution of doing so with enough time to account for any delays in traffic.

ORLIVAL + RER B

The RER does not stop at the airport so you will connect it by taking the Orlyval to Antony station.

You can travel for free on the Orlyval as long as you use it to get around within the stations of Orly Airport, but for transfers to and from Antony station you must buy a ticket from the self-service machines at the airport or at the RER station, the cost of which is €9.30.

The Orlyval runs every 4-7 minutes between 6:00 and 23:35, the journey to Antony station takes 6 minutes, while the RER B runs every 6/15 minutes and the journey takes about 30 minutes but will depend on your destination.

The price of the Orlyval + RER ticket is € 12.10 and can be purchased from the vending machines. The journey takes approximately 35 minutes.

As we said, the Orlyval connects the two airport terminals and extends to Antony station from where you will take the RER B.

The RER B has stops at stations such as Luxembourg, Saint Michel- Notre Dame, Chatelet-Les Halles, or Gare du Nord, so it can be a very good option if you are staying near any of them.

The frequency is 4-7 minutes between 6:00 and 23:00 hours.

Bus 183

Bus line 183 is a link between Orly and Paris, stopping at the stations RER C trains Pont de Rungis and Choisy-le-Roi. The cost is €2 for the bus + the cost of the RER C to your destination, combined ticket €6.

Frequency 15/20 minutes. Opening hours 05:00 to 00:30

On this line you can use the Navigo pass or the Paris Visite card (zones 1-5).

TRAM + METRO

If you want to save money and don’t mind the delay or transfers, this is a good option.

The T7 tram line leaves from Terminal 4, then you will connect at Villejuif-Lois Aragon station with the M7 metro line.

The tram will leave from Orly Terminal 4, so you may need to take the Orlival to get there. Remember that transfers between terminals are free.

As we said, it is one of the most economical ways to make the journey, although you have to walk quite a bit to get to the tram.

Once you get to the tram stop, there are vending machines to get your ticket. If you have the Navigo or Paris Visite, you can use it for the transfer.

The total journey time will be about 50/60 minutes. The price will be €3.80 for the tram ticket + the metro ticket (1.90 each).

The frequency is every 8-15 minutes between 5:35 and 00:20 hours.

It is one of the most economical ways to make the journey, although it is the one with the most transfers.
