Our first stop is… Segovia.
And there’s something that happens as soon as you arrive: the Roman Aqueduct leaves you completely speechless. More than two thousand years of history stand before you, a structure built with over 20,000 granite blocks placed without mortar.
But if there’s one place that makes everyone pull out their cameras, it’s the Alcázar.
With its towers and dark roofs, it looks like an impossible castle… and that very image was one of the inspirations for Disney’s Cinderella Castle.
Then comes Ávila.

You go from a fairytale setting to a city encased within a stone fortress.
