Louvre Museum
The Louvre Museum is one of them, and here we start the visit today.
If you have already visited the inside and you want to admire the pyramid and its surroundings, we recommend that you go early in the morning, where you will find few people and you will be able to take those beautiful photos that you see on Instagram.
But, as you can see it is still relatively early, you will see a queue already formed, these are people waiting for a ticket. So as a tip, book your ticket in advance and you will only have to go at the scheduled time, although you will have to wait a bit, you will not lose time.
Type of tickets and where to buy them.
Tickets to the museum can be purchased on the museum’s official website But you also have the guided tour, two hours with a guide in Spanish who will explain many of the works of the museum. I think it can be a very good option to optimize the time of the visit and obtain information.

With the all-inclusive Paris Go City Pass you have free access today but you must make a reservation in advance. I do not extend in the explanation about the passes, but many times they can be a profitable option, the same will depend on what type of trips you make, each traveler has to do their math if they will amortize it or not.

In the post we have about routes through Paris, there is one that has been much commented on by you, a very Parisian walk, the one of the covered passages and galleries of Paris.
Covered passages of Paris
We toured the area to add some more covered passage to the route we already have. The Choisseul passage.
This passage was built between 1826 and 1827, and has that old-fashioned charm just like the others we have visited such as des Panoramas, Verdeau or the beautiful Vivienne Galleries.
And we went in search of the Passage des Princes but it is under renovation. Built in 1860, but destroyed years later, it was not restored to its original splendor until 1995.
We returned to Printempas Haussman. I must say that they have a free viewing platform in the ladies’ section, which we visited the other time, and it is well worth it. And in the men’s section they have a restaurant and bar area on the top floor and from there you can also enjoy some beautiful views of the city.
It is just a few steps from the viewpoint of Galeries Lafayette, (also free).
Hotel de la Marina
Our steps will now take us to the Place de la Concorde, but this time in search of a place we had not yet visited and which I recommend to you: the Hotel de la Marina.
The Hotel de la Marine is one of the great 18th century palaces of Paris. Its name is due to the fact that, from the French Revolution until 2015,it was the administrative headquarters of the French Navy.
The French Ministry of the Navy moved to another building in 2015. From that year onwards, the Hôtel de la Marine was extensively refurbished and, since 2021, it has been open to the public.
The visit is well worth it if you like the palace halls. The audio guide system is magnificent, the story that is automatically played as you wander through the halls will tell you the story with a voice-over and characters that appear during the story. The truth is that this audio guide gives you a 10/10 for making the visit very immersive.

After a leisurely stroll through the Tuileries Garden, we head towards the Seine River. Whether it’s your first time in Paris or not, it’s always a pleasure to be able to take a walk through it.

Although we see them loaded with tourists, it is always a good idea to embark. Although you have several different ones, the common walk is between 16 and 23 euros.

Keeping in mind that I always speak from my own tastes, which may not necessarily be yours, I still think that if it is a special occasion and you can afford it, the option of a boat with dinner is a wonderful way to end an evening in Paris.
I speak for the one we did on another occasion, there are countless options I can’t say how they are all, but we liked the one we did a lot.
Eiffel Tower
First we are going to talk about another point that is your first visit or not, also returning will always be an option. The Eiffel Tower.
The climb to it can be done to the second floor or to the top. Tickets can be purchased online on the official website. I recommend that you do not delay in acquiring tickets especially if you travel in high season.
If you wish to take a guided tour to the top in Spanish, the route to the second floor is by stairs and then by elevator to the top.

The tower is always beautiful to see from below as well. There are several places where you can take beautiful photos, and this is one that is always very busy. Rue de la Université.
I stopped for a while to watch the tourists, I stepped back for a second from wanting to get the best shot and just enjoyed the moment, lots of people posing, the icon of Paris before our eyes and nobody wants to miss that image.

Dinner at the Eiffel Tower
Madame Brasserie is the restaurant on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. Dining at one of the most iconic monuments in the world is perhaps a dream for many.

Aura Invalides
We now go to another of the most visited sites, Les Invalides, where Napoleon’s tomb is located. This time not during the day but to a mapping show inside the tomb: Aura Invalides.
The truth is that I had high expectations, but they were exceeded. The show is well worth it, it is not as crowded as other things in Paris (or at least it wasn’t the day we visited) which makes it much more enjoyable.
The space, the lights, the music make it a magical moment. It lasts 50 minutes.
We continue to update data with this last and recent visit we have made to the city of light. We are now going to Le Marais, more precisely to walk around the Place des Vosges on a sunny day.

From there we started walking, passing by the Church of Saint Paul and Saint Louis, and continued towards the Place des Vosges. Although we had been there before, it is nice to walk through these types of places on a sunny day.
They have free tours of Le Marais and Bastille to discover corners of this neighborhood. We didn’t have time to do it this time but it remained on the list.
We have not talked about free tours until now because we have already done so several times in the Paris posts, but they are a nice option to discover Paris, both for the first contact and to discover neighborhoods like this one or Montmartre.
Another icon of Paris is the Arc de Triomphe and from here we go to another of the promised dinners, a bus tour of Paris while you have dinner.

Dinner at Bustronome. The truth is that we went to see what the experience was like and it ended up being the best way to end the trip since we did it on the last day.
Although it may be a good start to the experience, as you visit several well-known sites in the French capital while the dishes are being served. The experience lasts three hours and was highly recommended.

Notre Dame
If there is something we wanted to see again, it was another Parisian and world icon, Notre Dame.
We have seen it before the fire climbing its towers, we have seen it just a few days after it occurred, on the previous trip we saw it with the beginnings of reconstruction and now with its needle although there is still some time to finish, the opening is announced for December of this year.
Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris that we did not know yet and if you go with children it is a very good option.
The park is about 40 kilometers from Paris, we will have to go on the RER A. Soon we will have a complete post with how to visit.

Paris Flea Market
And the last visit we made was to a flea market in Saint Ouen. If there is one thing I have been wanting to visit for a long time, it was the famous flea markets in Paris.
The Paris Saint-Ouen flea market is the largest concentration of antique dealers and second-hand products in the world and attracts more than 5 million visitors a year
It is located in the northern part of Paris, opposite the 18th arrondissement, it is held every Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

It’s an original experience of popular Paris, a walk full of surprises. We only went to browse but it’s a good getaway if you like antiques and have a few hours to spare in Paris on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday. How to get there? You can get there by metro, line 4 or line 13. By bus, the 85 will drop you off right there.

Transport
Since we’re on the subject of transportation, let’s update. When we went the last time we took out the blocks of 10 bills and he gave us 10 individual tickets. Now you use the Navigo Easy, although to this day you can get the unit ticket as usual.
This pass costs €2 per card, you can get it from the vending machines marked for this purpose at public transport stations and it is for anonymous use, it does not have a photo or name on it (although it is for individual use as you cannot use it again immediately) and you recharge it at the self-service machines.
You can load the ticket pack for zone 1 or the single ticket into it. Or you can load mobilis 1 day, the daily pass for zones 1 to 5, a ticket for the Roysebus or Orlybus.
The other Navigo, the Decovert for personal use with a photo, you can still charge a one-day, weekly or monthly pass as always. You can get it at the public transport ticket offices

Hotel
We chose the Princesse Caroline again, we still feel that it is a comfortable hotel, the location near the Arc de Triomphe and the Charles de Gaulle Etoile metro and RER station with which we were very well connected.
Dinner
We have had dinner at the Café L’etoile which is just a few steps from the hotel and other dinners have been those already seen at the Eiffel Tower or at the Bustronome.
